Junior HR & Training Coordinator

My client, a Global Food Manufacturer based in Co. Louth, is seeking a Junior HR & Training Coordinator to join their existing Human Resources team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark within an established HR team in this newly created role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the entire on-boarding process and general HR support to the business.

The salary is negotiable, depending on experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for the on-boarding process for all new hires, including delivering company induction and updating employee records.
  • Manage the recruitment process by identifying candidates, scheduling interviews, reference checking.
  • Maintain the digital training system ensuring training records are up to date, accurate and comply with company & legal obligations.
  • Utilise company app for training updates and communication.
  • Manage training compliance at all levels for the site.
  • Work closely with the operations team to maintain and continuously improve internal training processes - SOP procedures, upskilling employees and refresher training.
  • Coordination of compliance training with the technical team and train the trainers.
  • Weekly reporting of training KPI’s.
  • HR Generalist support, dealing with employee queries, maintaining employee files, processing of new starter and leaver documentation.
  • Management of leave entitlements to include sick, holidays, maternity.
  • Support a broad range of HR activities that will deliver the People Strategy.

Skills, experience and qualifications required:

  • At least 1 years experience in a busy HR role with experience in recruitment, delivery of induction training, general HR administration.
  • A diploma in HR or related discipline.
  • Excellent administrative and IT skills, TMS an advantage.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A fast learner with fantastic organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter – with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work on own initiative.
