Senior Stores Coordinator

My client, a successful food business, supplying product to customers across the EU, is looking for a Senior Stores Coordinator to lead overall operation of the Stores Department in relation to maintaining and improving Quality, Safety and Environmental standards.

This is a full time, permanent contract.

Salary: €45k, 25 days annual leave & pension contribution

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To lead stores and distribution department efficiently and effectively, resolving any issues in a timely manner ensuring minimal or no disruption to customer and site operations
  • Manage the stores team
  • Maintain ongoing clear communication with Supervisory Teams across all departments and contribute to Team DMS meetings
  • Ensure raw materials are requested via SAP in a timely manner in order to meet the Production Plan and customer orders
  • Ensure the receipt and processing of customer orders is completed in accordance with the Production Plan and the Delivery Schedule
  • Arrange the transportation of deliveries both into the storage units in Europe and to other third parties
  • Raise awareness to all relevant stakeholders of any potential issues with deliveries in a timely manner
  • Arrange and oversee site transport deliveries and collections for ingredients, detergents, packaging and other site requirements
  • Co-ordinate site ambient & temperature controlled storage of finished goods, packaging, ingredients and detergents
  • Ensure receipt of all on site deliveries are taken in accordance with internal procedures and processes
  • Pallet management
  • Provide stock reports to the required stakeholders on a weekly basis and monthly reports to management
  • Ensure Quality/BRC, Health & Safety and Hygiene Standards and documentation are maintained

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in Warehouse Management/Supervision within FMCG, leading a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel)
  • Knowledge of SAP, stock control and purchasing systems
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Highly Organised with good communication skills
