Procurement Manager

Contract

One of Ireland’s leading food companies, based in Galway, are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team. This is a maternity cover contract for 12 months. This role will deal mainly with packaging.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and update the stock ordering sheet
Ensure that all orders are placed in a timely manner
Maintain and update the purchase order pending report to ensure that they have confirmed delivery dates
Complete monthly reconciliation of sales and stocks
Sign off all packaging invoices
Manage & Coordinate warehouses and warehouse staff on both sites
Develop, maintain and evolve a costing structure within the business

Requirements:

Experience in managing a team
Previous experience in a similar role
IT Skills, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SAP
Excellent communication and report writing skills
The ability to liaise confidently with colleagues at all levels
React positively and flexibly to the changing needs in the overall working environment and individual role
Must have own transport
A highly competitive salary is on offer to the successful candidate
