Our client a highly innovative, award winning food company, is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join its management team in Co. Offaly. This is a 12 month Maternity Cover Contract.

Monday - Friday, Day Shift.

Salary: €40-45k (negotiable DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and continuously developing the Quality Management System
• Managing a Quality Officer and the Cleaning Team
• Ensuring audit readiness at all times (BRC)
• Facilitating and complying to customer and third-party audit requirements
• Maintenance and continuous improvement of the HACCP system
• Closing out complaints/non-conformance's, applying corrective and preventative actions and conducting root cause analysis
• Ensuring site cleaning and hygiene standards are maintained to a high level
• Liaising with suppliers and customers on any quality issues.

Requirements:

• Previous Quality Management experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment
• Food Science Degree or related discipline
• Extensive experience in leading teams
• Working knowledge of retail practices and requirements
• Excellent planning and organising skills
