Hospital Sales Rep
My Client is a part of a global pharmaceutical operation and has a new operation in Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with a dynamic and forward thinking generics company. My Client is currently seeking to employ a Hospital Sales Representative. Location is open to suit the person.
Objective of the Role:
- To support the Hospital Business Manager
- Accountability for the support and sales of hospital products into a defined area
- Achievement of profit and sales revenue targets within this given key account customer base.
- Business relationship management within the defined base of all aspects of financial and non-financial hospital account performance including account strategy development,
- Responsible for the promotion of product portfolio within hospital sector
Essential Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a field based sales role
- Educated to degree level in life science or business degree
- Experience in Hospital Sales environment
- Knowledge of Irish Hospital marketEstablished links to key stakeholders within hospital market namely Chief Pharmacists
- Excellent business acumen and commercial judgement
- Highly tuned negotiation skills
- Highly credible with good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, able to interface effectively with the team, customer, industry and internal company personnel
- A strong team player with the ability to work on their own initiative.
- Action orientated and good track record of delivery of sales results
- High degree of self motivation and long-term commitment, capable of initiating and sustaining profitable growth plans
- Strategic outlook on hospital market development.
- Commercially aware with good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to influence and maintain relationships at all levels in the internal and external relationships.
- Ability to operate in a complex fast moving environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Full clean drivers licence
- An Oncology background would be favourable but not essential
Salary commensurate with experience – Open to experience level, Bonus, Pension, Company Car, VHI, Expenses etc
