We have an exciting opportunity to join the management team of one of Ireland's fastest growing food companies!

The HR Manager will have full responsibility for the HR functions of the business and will provide a broad range of HR services to all functional areas of the business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implementation, and continuous development of the site HR plan.
• Partner with the Operations Department across all HR disciplines to deliver the HR plan.
• Control of labour/headcount with recruitment costs tracked in line with KPI and budgetary limits. Create and maintain a company LinkedIn online profile to aid the recruitment process.
• Provide support to all managers in maintaining and developing a strong and positive working relationship with employees.
• Strive to enhance engagement of all employees in order to further develop the lean manufacturing culture within the organisation.
• Provide HR advisory on disciplinary/grievance/ER related issues and in cooperation with line managers, ensure that absenteeism is proactively and consistently managed.
• Manage the maintenance of staff records in an ‘audit ready’ state.
• Support the Finance team in compiling the weekly payroll. Provide support to employees on all pay related matters.
• Coordination of training and development activities on site to meet department/site needs and statutory requirements.
• As part of a wider project team to assist and manage the delivery of key projects.
• Key member of the Covid-19 Team – internal employee contact tracing, ongoing engagement with employees on internal and external Covid protocols, point of contact with HSE and local Doctor in relation to Covid mass testing.

Requirements:

• Relevant Third Level Qualification in a HR related discipline.
• Experience in the food industry/FMCG is advantageous.
• Robust understanding of Irish Employment Law.
• Experience and understanding of cost management is important.
• Training & Developing experience desirable.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Energetic, committed and self-reliant individual who has an overall commitment to the organisation and ability to use own initiative.
