Assistant Brand Manager

Our client have an exciting opening for a dynamic Assistant Brand Manager to drive sales, market share, brand equity and profitability of their brands.

This person will have project management skills, strong attention to detail, a creative mindset, and a high energy attitude.

Role Responisbilities:

  • Accountable for achieving key business targets, working alongside the Head of Marketing to develop strategies for growth
  • Evaluate brand performance and budgets against agreed measures/goals
  • Champion brand plans across the business
  • Determine brand budget spend across ATL and BTL resources to deliver agreed objectives
  • Research and development of brand positioning as required
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to develop the optimal mix of consumer communication for each brand; ATL & BTL
  • Use insights to create disruptive brand activations
  • Be accountable for all communication for designated brands
  • Align closely with Commercial and Category teams to deliver customer/shopper marketing trade plans for key retailer activations both on & offline
  • Inspire agencies (creative, media buying, PR, research) on a day-to-day basis to deliver breakthrough output
  • Event Management across our portfolio of brands
  • Deliver a consistent flow of quality driven content across social media (volume & engagement rate measured)
  • Collaborate with relevant core innovation team stakeholders to drive the development of NPD

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing/Business or similar
  • Minimum 2-3years Marketing experience
  • Proven track record in delivering best in class brand activations with a keen interest in digital media and deploying digital media strategies an advantage
  • Interest in Food/Nutrition and an FMCG background would be an advantage
  • Proven ability of delivering to challenging targets/plans
  • A team player with exceptional organisational and technical skills
  • Excellent communication, time management, organisation and presentation skills
  • Versatile, self-motivated and results driven
  • Proactive, ambitious and dedicated, with the ability to work independently
  • Flexibility to work remotely or in the office as the business requires
  • Open to travel on an ad hoc basis
