We have an excellent opportunity for a HR Manger to join a team located in the Kildare Area.

 

Reporting to the Financial Manager, the HR Manager will be an integral member of the Management team and will play a key role in the formulation and implementation of the Company’s employment ethos. This role may also suit a candidate who is at Generalist level looking for a move into HR Manager level.

Full time, permanent role

 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain HR files for all staff
• Liaise and engage with Company Representatives, Shop Stewards and Union on Collective bargaining agreements
• Sourcing new employees via adverts or social media
• Conducting interviews
• Manage induction Training
• Liaise with the payroll department ensuring all appropriate information is processed
• Keeping Health & Safety Statement updated
• Work with H&S department to ensure best practice in policies, procedures and processes
• Support employees in the resolution of workplace-related issues
• Logging and reporting accidents
• Advise and participate in disciplinary process/grievance procedures when required
• Mentor Managers on best HR practices

 

Requirements:

• 3rd level Degree in Human Resource Management
• CIPD accreditation
• Excellent MS Office applications
• Hands on active approach
• Self-driven and self-motivated
• Excellent problem solving and logical thought ability
• Well organised and ability to handle pressure
• Energetic, committed and self-reliant individual
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Responsible
• Excellent team player and ability to work on own initiative
• Works well under pressure
