Excellent opportunity for a Quality Manager to join a well established FMCG in Monaghan.

  • Hours of work: Monday - Friday 08:30 – 17:00



  • Day to day management of the Quality Team.

  • Ensure that the site is continuously in a state of audit readiness.

  • Assist in employee selection, training & development, performance appraisals and any disciplinary actions for the team.

  • Work with Supervisors and Operating staff to establish and maintain procedures, standards, and systems.

  • Investigating and improving any non conformances raised through customer, third party and internal audits. 

  • Implement Policy, Technical and Standard Operating Procedures in line with regulatory, customer and site requirements. 

  • Review all SOPs, simplify and ensure that they are streamlined and relevant.

  • Support Product Innovation and manage and support all technical requirements to bring a product from ideation to launch.

  • Attend and assist at the Handover Meetings, Pre-Production and 1st Production Runs with Operations, Engineering and Quality Teams to sign off and finalise the details in the Internal Specification.

  • Works closely with the Hygiene Teams to ensure that cleaning is conducted effectively and maintained at the highest standard, driving continuous improvement.

  • Work closely with Suppliers through regular review meetings. 

  • A key member of the site TACCP, HACCP and Internal Audit teams.

  • Participation in mock recall and traceability scenarios. 



  • Food Science/Food Technology qualification would be a distinct advantage but not essential if experience demonstrates your capabilities and skills in the Food Industry.

  • Certifications in the following areas an advantage; Internal Auditing, Lead Auditor, Train the Trainer, HACCP, TACCP.

  • A strong technical background and knowledge of Industry Food Standards. 

  • Experience in the FMCG sector with exhibited knowledge and proficiency working with internal and external stakeholders.

  • The ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines. 

  • Excellent attention to detail. 

  • Ability to speak, present data, and defend approaches in front of audiences and inspectors. 

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
