Fantastic opportunity for a Senior NPD Manager to join an award winning FMCG based in Westmeath.

Full-time, permanent opportunity with a negotiable salary.

 

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop strong & lasting relationships with customers by continual communications by way of updates and NPD plans.
• Manage the innovation pipeline in line with business plans.
• Ensure that all new products are developed in line with product briefs. 
• Working closely with customers and all internal teams in delivering new ideas/ existing product improvements. 
• Develop critical paths for new product development, including customer samples, laboratory samples, pre-production trials, production sign off and launch and any other customer requirements.
• Source the raw materials and packaging for upcoming projects.
• Ensure that all products launched are in compliance with food safety legislation, brand and retailer requirements.
• Create & review product recipes and specifications. 
• Liaise with all functions including Sales, Purchasing, Production and Technical. 

 

Key Skills and Experience required:

• Experience in a Prepared Consumer Foods (PCF) environment.
• Previous experience as an NPD manager in a FMCG.
• Passion of food and  knowledge of food trends.
• Excellent communication and technical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to deliver on deadlines.
• Able to work both as an individual & a team player.
• Strong organisational skills.
