Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the expansion in the UK & European marketplace. This is a standout opportunity to join this category leading food brand.

 

Full time, permanent position

This role can be located anywhere in Ireland or the UK

 

Role Responsibilities:

• National account management and development of UK & European Customers.
• Relationship management of Retail HQ, Agents & Distributors.
• Achieve volume, sales and profitability targets in line with company objectives.
• Market analysis to identify key opportunities.
• Participation in national and international Trade Shows.
• New Product Development Engagement and Develop new labels/packaging.
• Annual Budget process engagement.
• Promotional planning and analysis.
• Customer presentations.

 

Key skills and Experience needed:

• 7 years+ FMCG account management experience.
• Demonstrated track record of business growth and development.
• Excellent commercial skills, liaising with Retail HQ buyers, agents and distributors.
• Excellent numeric and IT skills for data analysis, margins, budgets, LTA’s Promotions, market research formal business plans etc.
• Keen interested in added value food products.
• Experienced in food innovation, NPD and new product launches. 
• Personable, Friendly, Strong relationship building and excellent team player.
• Drive and ambition with the desire and ability to make a significant contribution.
