Electrical Engineer/Civil Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer/Civil Engineer to join a leading multi-site manufacturing organisation based in the South East. 

  

Full-Time, Permanent Position.

Monday-Friday.

Salary is Negotiable, Depending on Experience.

Package includes: Pension contribution, mobile, laptop, Engineers Ireland membership subscription and company sponsored education.

 

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Develop scope and system performance targets for tendering to external contractors.
• Review tender submissions and design proposals from external contractors.
• Monitor project expenses in line with the approved project budget.
• Design small scale process changes and implement same.
• Provide technical support to the site production, maintenance and utility teams.
• Ensure the smooth transfer of project knowledge from engineering to production, including ramp-up plans for new processes, transfers or product introductions.
• Ensure all activities, equipment and facilities comply with GMP, Health, Safety, and environmental policies.
• Do up sketch work & plans, on-site building measurements and work with external chartered engineer (who will sign these off and submit all planning applications etc.)

 

Requirements: 

• 3rd level qualification in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
• Previous Engineering experience within a large-scale manufacturing environment, preferably in the Dairy, Food, Beverage, or Healthcare industries - an advantage. 
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication – verbal & written.
• CAD & MS Project.
