Our client, a successful FMCG company in Ireland, is now looking for a Senior Category Manager to join their team.

 

This is a fully hybrid position and an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with 3-5 years' experience in Senior Category Management within the FMCG sector.

 

Excellent Salary - negotiable, depending on experience

Core Responsibilities:

• To be an inspirational leader, by demonstrating the 3 Es behaviours (Envision, Engage, Execute) consistently and increasing internal networks and direct reports capability.
• Develop and deliver customer category growth plans to build category partnerships based on trust & objective category view. 
• Lead the range review process for customer base & support direct reports.
• Develop and deliver Shopper Based Design Vision including Perfect Store Standards.
• Develop world class customer relationships via networking and engagement.
• Demonstrate strategic thinking and inputs into key business process: business reviews, account planning, JBP, delivery of plan to achieve sales fundamentals growth across account portfolio.
• Represent customer & category leadership, ability to lead is essential.
• Manage and develop direct report so they have stretching Personal development plans and deliver their KPIs.

Requirements:

• Full Clean Driving Licence.
• 3rd level qualification in business / marketing or related discipline advantageous.
• IT literate and competent in MS office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word Skills).
• Expert on data sources such as Kantar, Nielsen, Dunnhumby, EYC.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Naturally strong on detail and accuracy, but see the bigger picture and tell the story.
• Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team.
