We have a fantastic opportunity for a Customs Administrator (Hybrid working) to join a Grocery Retailer based in Kildare.

 

Package Details:

• Excellent salary 
• Hybrid working
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Working hours - 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday
• Pension and health cover 
• Will start off as an 11 month contract with view to permanency

 

The Customs Administrator will be responsible for the administration of various customs related processes and data across various departments within the business.

 

Responsibilities:

• Administration and processing of customs declarations and associated customs data
• Overseeing the process of customs classification and customs masterdata
• Overseeing the resolution of customs related queries
• Identifying areas of improvement and optimising processes
• Cross-checking various sources of information incl. contracts and internal systems
• Dealing with suppliers and gathering relevant supplier information (supplier, product and account details) across all temperature regimes and product categories

 

Requirements:

• Experience working with customs data and knowledge of the customs environment
• Ideally 2 years Customs practitioner qualification or 12 months experience as a Customs Clerk or similar role
• Experience in a supply chain setting
• Confident using Microsoft Offices packages (incl. Excel)
• Full driving license required
