Technical Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for a Technical Manager to join a successful Bakery Manufacturer based in North Dublin.

This person will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a Food Safety and Quality System,which is compatible with legislative and industry requirements.

Full time, on-site permanent role

Flexible on starting and finishing times - 40 hours per week

Negotiable salary depending on experience

Key Responsibilities include:

Day to day responsibility for Food Safety and Quality Management Systems
Maintenance and continuous management of HACCP, TACCP, VACCP and GMP systems
Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, legal compliance, and customer requirements of all products
Completion of all site and customers product specifications
Communication with suppliers, customers, statutory bodies, and external parties on all technical queries
Handling of customer complaints: investigation of non-conformance, implementation of corrective and preventive actions
Leading and supporting third party audits
Conducting internal audits
Deliver training and support to the operations and wider staff in relation to Food Safety & Quality

Requirements:

Food related degree, relevant qualifications, and similar experience in a BRC accredited manufacturing site
Able to work individually and as a team to strict guidelines with a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and quality
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Passion for food
