Hygiene Manager - Day Shift

We have an excellent opportunity for a Hygiene Manager to join an Irish owned, successful food manufacturer based in North Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the highest standard of hygiene across their production plant and will prioritise food safety at all times.

 

Full time, permanent role

Working Hours – This role will be a day shift position and the successful candidate will work 4 days within the week and every Saturday

Negotiable salary depending on experience

 

Duties will include:

• Leading a team of 7 Hygiene staff 
• Creating Cleaning Instruction Cards (CIC’s) and ensuring all staff are trained correctly against the cards
• Management of all MSDS sheets for chemicals
• Leading the Hygiene department in internal and external audits
• Managing the Hygiene department budget for all equipment and supplies
• Managing all aspects of hygiene equipment, tools, chemicals and general stock levels
• Bringing a compliant yet flexible approach to allocated cleaning times in our production schedule

 

Requirements:

• Management or leadership experience within a Hygiene, Cleaning or Quality department within a food manufacturer is essential
• A third level qualification in food science or a similar discipline is beneficial but not essential
• Experience leading a department with external customer and BRC audits
• Experience training staff on how to clean manufacturing equipment according to cleaning instructions
