We have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Manager to join a successful grocery retailer in South Dublin. This is a maternity leave fixed term contract.

 

Negotiable salary depending on experience

Excellent benefits including life assurance, pension contributions and bonus

 

The primary purpose of this role will be to manage the technical process for a category by ensuring that products, services and information consistently deliver to meet customer expectations.

 

You will be responsible for:

• Prior to launch you will put all your products through NPD / Customer Quality Test Ensuring all your products meet guidelines and Policy requirements
• Regularly review the quality  products against Product Specifications and Competitor products 
• Review customer complaints and returns data for your products & complete trend analysis 
• Ensuring all new supplier sites are Approval Audited against the company's standards and Non Conformances are Closed Off 
• Risk assess all new products to ensure that they are safe and legal

 

Requirements:

• Technical experience
• Auditing experience 
• IT Skills 
• Relevant 3rd level degree
