Business Developer – North Leinster

We have an excellent opportunity for a Business Developer to join a leading, dynamic, global food company in the North Leinster region. This role will cover the Kildare, South Kilkenny, Carlow, Wexford, Waterford, Tipperary and Laois areas.

Working as part of an experienced team, the role of Business Developer will be responsible for the delivery of sales budgets, securing of new business and ensuring the consistent delivery and execution of a best in class customer experience.

Excellent salary plus 20% performance bonus, pension contributions and lunch allowance

Responsibilities:

Management and development of new and existing Retail accounts
Train and develop operators that handle our portfolio
Excellence in execution across your Territory
Provision of excellent customer service, product and industry knowledge
Expansion of the current offering and proposition to existing customers
Delivery of a prompt response to all customer queries ensuring all issues are addressed and resolved as quickly as possible
Driving of continual improvement of product knowledge and sharing this with customers to generate greater sales growth
Accurately maintain CRM data for internal use, field management and analysis
Work cross functionally with other functions within the business

Requirements:

Commercially minded with a proven track record in sales within the Retails and/or Foodservice business
Customer focused
Financial acumen – ability to analyse, interpret and apply sales data to make better business decisions
Passionate about Food and Retail – with a hands on approach to selling
Excellent communication skills
Food Retail, Culinary, hospitality, or beverage education or experience is desirable
Full driving licence is required
