We have an excellent opportunity for an Experienced Trader to join a leading Irish food producer in Kildare.

This role will report to the Sales Manager and will be responsible for sourcing & selling meat products in a variety of formats.

 

Full time, permanent role

Negotiable salary depending on experience

 

Responsibilities:

• Working with approved suppliers and customers in the Meat industry
• Driving new business, thinking strategically, anticipating and reacting to opportunities within the Market Place
• Being results orientated while being a key team player, communicating effectively with the existing Sales team
• Adhering to the company’s policy on Food Safety and Compliance
• B2B Sales

 

Requirements:

• Have at least 5 years’ trading experience reinforced by extensive product and industry knowledge across the 4 main proteins on international market
• Third level qualification in Food/Agricultural Science preferred
• Be computer literate, an effective communicator, languages not essential but would be an advantage
• Have undertaken Professional courses/ training
