Quality Assurance Officer (Grocery Retailer)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Asurance Officer to join a successful grocery retailer in North Dublin. This is a fixed term contract until February 2024.

Hours of work:

39 hours - Rotating Shift Pattern 7am - 3pm, 11am -7.00pm, 9.00am - 5.00pm

Responsibilities:

• Product Inspections. 
• Ensuring that all product is inspected as outlined below, and meets the customer specifications.
• When the product is being packed (in process) and when the product is being dispatched
• Shelf-Life Inspections.
• Completion of Inspection Quality Records as required and in accordance with procedures.
• Collection of samples for micro testing.
• Carrying out routine inspections according to documented Inspection & Test Procedures.
• Working with suppliers and technical managers on product quality for all categories.
• Working cross functionally with technical and other functions to build trusting relationships.
• Liaising with enforcement officers on any issues in depot relating to your role.
• Inspection of all brand product against specification.
• Quality shopping baskets and shelf life analyses.
• Completion of Inspection Quality Records as required and in accordance with procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience although not necessary is desirable. 
• Previous experience in a fresh product environment is desirable.
• An understanding of inspection methodology and test and inspection equipment.
• I.T. skills.
• Team Work and Working collaboratively across all functions.
• Good communication skills
