Commercial Product Manager - Grocery Retailer

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Product Manager to join a successful grocery retailer in South Dublin. This role is for an initial 12 month contract with the potential for this to be extended.

You will be responsible for:

• The successful delivery of the trade plan for the product lines.
• Working with the device buyers to agree on the optimal range of devices, customer offer and device roadmap to drive trade in line with a budgetary plan.
• Liaising with the Retail Operations team on a daily basis to track success of trade plans and sales targets.
• Highlighting and implementing corrective action for any deviation to financial budgets as required.
• Operational management of 3rd party relationships.
• Working with the Head of Commercial to develop & implement strategic plans that ensure we continue to deliver growth.
• Proactively monitoring and assessing industry, competitor, and regulatory trends
• Providing trade plan forecasts to our Customer Care team so they can accurately plan for peak activity times.

 

You will need:

• 5 years’ experience in a commercial role – Telecoms industry an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to be a key voice for Commercial within the business.
• Experience in Range Management and Strategic Planning.
• Strong relationship skills developed through management of internal, cross-functional teams.
• Vendor management and proven results in driving performance.
• Outsourcing Management and Contract negotiation experience essential.
• Passion for mobile industry trends, with and the drive and initiative to bring in new ideas to help shape strategy.
