Maintenance Technician

We have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join a successful FMCG company based in North Dublin.

 

• Hours of work: Day, evening & night shift involved on rotating weekly pattern Monday - Friday
• Negotiable salary depending on experience approx €40k - €50k plus shift allowance
• Pension contributions
• Full time, permanent role

 

The primary role of the Maintenance Technician will be to ensure the plant’s production equipment is in good working order and properly maintained.

 

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of production process equipment, to include breakdown repairs,preventative/predictive. maintenance and ongoing day-to-day troubleshooting and technical interventions.
• Maintenance of buildings and utilities systems and equipment as required.
• Completion of equipment and maintenance logs.
• Operation of spare parts systems.
• Continuous improvement of production process equipment.

 

Requirements:

• Must have a mechanical/electrical maintenance background.
• Must have previous experience of working in the food manufacturing industry.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience of from & fill seal machines is essential.
• PLC programming would be an advantage.
