Our client a successful food company has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager to join their team based in North Dublin.

 

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that the highest quality standards are met in line with all relevant Food Safety requirements by law. 

  

Full time, permanent role

Negotiable salary depending on experience

 

Responsibilities:

• Accreditation of all required Quality and Food Safety standards, ensuring that all BRC Audits are successful.
• Manage the technical approval of all new suppliers and the validation of all new systems, processes and procedures.
• Ensures existing suppliers are regularly vetted.
• Leading the performance, coaching and development of the Team.
• Implement new quality systems as required and updating quality manuals in line with audit requirements.
• Manage customer complaints & undertake root cause analysis.
• Managing product specification completion on time with the specification technologists.
• Manage the sites allergen control procedure and policy.

 

Requirements:

• At least five years experience of managing a comparable Quality Division in a BRC approved food company.
• A degree in Food Science or relevant General Science.
• Excellent communication skills both Written and Oral.
