We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join a leading food manufacturer based in Longford.

 

Reporting to the Operations Director, the HR Manager will play a key role in managing all aspects of the human resources practices and processes for the site.

 

Full time, permanent role.

Negotiable salary, depending on experience.

Excellent package available: Bonus, Pension and VHI.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Advise managers and supervisors in all aspects of HR.
• Setting and reviewing pay structures and employee benefits.
• Develop and Maintain the HR scorecard of all HR KPI’s for all departments.
• Advise managers and supervisors in all aspects of HR.
• Management of Recruitment process including planning at immediate and long-term staffing requirements.
• Accessing training needs and assist in design and implementation of programmes.
• Management of company appraisal process, student programmes and maintaining company employee records.
• Conduct HR reports as per management request, turnover, absenteeism etc.
• Work collaboratively with the leadership team to drive overall business performance.
• Manage monthly employee meetings to support positive engagement practices across the company.
• Support the Senior Leadership Team on the wider HR policies, programmes and initiatives.

 

Requirements:

• Third level degree in HR/CIPD qualification desired or similar years of experience.
• Proven working experience as HR Manager - minimum 5 years.
• Excellent employment law knowledge.
• Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and knowledge of HR systems.
