We have an exciting new opportunity for a Company Accountant to join a well established food manufacturer based in Down.

 

This role would also be suitable for strong Office Manager who has experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

 

Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for running the office and all financial and administration tasks as required.

 

Full-Time, Permanent Position.

Monday - Friday, 7am- 3.30pm, on-site.

Salary is Negotiable, Depending on Experience.

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily bank reconciliations, monthly purchase control accounts reconciliation and payment runs.
• Processing of monthly & weekly debtors control accounts reconciliation as well as payroll for all staff.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and cash flow forecasts.
• Gathering and summarising data for non-standard analyses and reports.
• Support external accountants requirements.
• Processing of daily invoicing & purchase orders as well as shipping documents.
• Attending to other administrative tasks as required.

 

Requirements:

• A professional qualification or study in this field will be a bonus.
• 3+ years’ experience in a finance role, preferably within an industrial / manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate a solid track record of financial management, performance management and systems skills.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment while handling multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of working with XERO accounts package would be an advantage.
• Extensive systems knowledge and computer literacy.
• Must be strong in excel and IT literate.
