Senior Quality Control Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Control Technician to join a successful food company. You will work across their sites in Monaghan & Cavan.

 

• Negotiable salary depending on experience

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular hygiene and fabrication audits, quality checks, verification checks, system compliance checks, microbiological sampling, recording, and trending.
• Investigating customer complaints.
• Managing site calibration schedules, pest control programs, traceability exercises and supplier approval documentation.
• Completing customer specifications on customer portals.
• Approving artworks, consulting with customers on artwork re-designs.
• Training new employees.

 

Skills & Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Food Science / Food Technology.
• Good understanding of HACCP principles, Bord Bia standards and BRC V9.
• Ideally have up to 3 years’ experience in a FMCG environment however full training will be provided.
• Full clean driving licence is essential.
