We have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Manager to join a leading FMCG based in Newry.

 

As Quality Manager you will be responsible for conducting quality internal audits, quality monitoring of products, developing and implementing improved policies and procedures ensuring quality control measures are adhered to. You will report to the Technical Manager and will have direct responsibility for a team of auditors, and a quality leader.

 

Negotiable salary depending on experience

 

Responsibilities:

• Managing the Quality and Food Safety System.
• Lead the QA team, defining control plans, tasks and activities.
• Be the site representative for all 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audits on site.
• Implementation, maintenance and follow up of the Quality Systems and HACCP.
• Developing SOPs, quality policies and procedures to BRC standards.
• Monitoring incoming ingredients to ensure they are from an approved supplier.
• Liaising with customers on the Quality Assurance requirements.

 

Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a Quality Department within the food industry is essential.
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
