Our client, a leading FMCG based in North Dublin is looking for a Head of Production to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and overseeing all direct and indirect production and hygiene staff.
• Lead the implementation of the company’s FSQMS throughout Production & Packing to ensure agreed food safety and quality standards are met at all times.
• Defining, implementing and leading a Lean culture across the manufacturing plant.
• Management and development of production KPIs.
• Responsibility for the Production financial budget.
• Achieve planned production output across 3 production shifts as per the production plan.
• Ensure we are constantly audit ready for announced and unannounced audits.

 

Experience Required:

• Experience in a similar position within food manufacturing at a similar level is required. The candidate should be used to managing at a strategic level as well as an operational level.
• Implementing and leading a lean culture within a food manufacturing business.
• Experience with pastry, dough or any ready-to-bake categories is advantageous.
• Experience with implementing or working with automation within food manufacturing is advantageous.
