Quality Control Technician

Our client, an established and innovative food business based in South Dublin, is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join their team. This role would suit a graduate or someone with 1-2 years experience working in the food industry.

Responsibilities:

• To inspect and carry out chemical, physical, organoleptic and microbiological tests.
• Conduct QC line checks to ensure that standards are being met on the production line.
• Raw material intake assessment against specification.
• To assist in compiling in-house and finished product specifications and procedures.
• Approving suppliers and raw material specifications.
• To assist and work alongside product development, including plant trials.
• To assist in operator training, e.g. Food Hygiene.
• To investigate and resolve customer complaints.

 

Requirements:

• Third level qualification in Food/ Science related discipline.
• Food Industry experience is desirable.
