Our client, a fast-moving, Internationally focused food company is seeking an ambitious Technical and NPD Executive to join their experienced and dynamic team in West Dublin. The company owns a portfolio of leading brands and supplies a wide range of food products to leading Food service, Retail and Industrial customers.

Responsibilities:

• Working on a growing, successful team of NPD & Technical personnel.
• Communicating with suppliers.
• Helping to maintain the Technical, Quality, BRC & NPD documentation and related systems.
• Communicating with Retail & Foodservice customers’ technical & NPD departments.
• Coordinating projects and executing product evaluations/tastings across meat and non-meat food categories.
• From time-to-time visiting suppliers.
• Supporting events and presentations in conjunction with the Commercial function for customer presentations & events.

 

Requirements:

• Third level degree in Food Science or related discipline.
• 7+ years food industry experience.
• BRC/IFS knowledge.
• Experience in negotiating with QA & NPD in supplier factories.
• Flexible and able to travel from time to time to visit suppliers’ factories abroad.
• Knowledge of specifications management systems is desirable.
