A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior NPD Technologist to join our client, a well established Food Manufacturer based in Louth.

 

This exciting position will play a key role in managing the company's growth strategies across Ireland, the UK and Europe. There will also be an opportunity to work with large retailers and brands to bring ideas from concept to launch.

 

Full-Time, Permanent Position.

Excellent salary on offer.

20 days Annual Leave.

 

Please note a full valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for this position.

 

Responsibilities:

• Lead important projects for our growth, taking ideas from start to finish with exceptional execution.
• Collaborate with top retailers and brands in the UK and Europe, responding to their product requests.
• Research global market trends, new products, and flavors to align with our innovation goals.
• Create new products in our development kitchen in response to briefs and for proactive consideration.
• Provide essential documents like recipes, nutritional information, and production details for product launches.
• Plan and conduct sensory analysis, share findings, and maintain records.
• Offer process and technical support to transition kitchen samples into commercial products.
• Establish strong relationships with the entire team, including supply chain, operations, sales, and technical.

 

Requirements:

• Over 3 years of experience in NPD or Food Technology.
• Prior work in a large automated food factory.
• Exceptional organisational and time management abilities with great attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for project management.
• Proven track record in handling supplier and customer relationships.
• Effective teamwork skills across the entire team.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have personal access to a vehicle.
