Excellent opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client, a leading manufacturer based in Dublin.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, Maintenance general issues; ideally also PLC programming, and troubleshooting. 

 

• Negotiable salary depending on experience.
• Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions in a timely manner.
• Conductpreventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and reduce downtime.
• Manage spare parts / schedules and purchases of with production to ensure smooth running of machines.
• Assist in the planning and execution of electrical system upgrades and installations.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians as needed.
• Utilising lean / continuous improvement as tool to help drive performance.

 

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrician (with PLC experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting ideally).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Flexibility to work shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
