Excellent opportunity for an Engineering Supervisor to join a leading FMCG. The Engineering Supervisor will lead a team of Fitters & Electricians in the day-to-day activities of a busy Engineering department across the site.

Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support, both reactive repairs and planned maintenance within the manufacturing & office facility.
• Carry out installations and commissioning of plant / equipment & trouble shooting of same.
• Carry out programming and diagnostic of plant and equipment.
• Carry out the execution of the preventive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshooting using PLC Programs .
• Assist the Health & Safety team in carrying out risk assessments of new & existing machines.
• Have working knowledge/experience with a “Lock-out Tag-out” programme.
• Overseeing of Contractors on site.
• Provide the Engineering Department with the highest levels of support, you'll analyse plant downtime levels and implement effective strategies to increase uptime.
• Use the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to carry out routine work and to record breakdown work associate with equipment.

 

Requirements:

• A relevant third level qualification in Engineering or time-served as Electrician.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a maintenance role, planned & reactive maintenance skills.
• PLC/PC Control Systems experience.
• Mechanical Experience.
• Previous experience at identifying & executing machine/line improvement projects (leaninitiatives).
