We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Lead to join a leading,successful FMCG.

 

• Full time, permanent role.
• Hours of work: 8am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday.
• Negotiable salary depending on experience.
• Excellent benefits including pension contributions, Bonus, Phone, Car Parking & 22 days annual leave.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• To liaise with the technical departments of customers and suppliers.
• Manage and overview all quality control and quality assurance function from the end-to-end process.
• Maintain Quality Management Systems and HACCP system.
• Review and report KPIs to management.
• Investigation of non-conformance, deviation, customer complaints and ensuring the corrective/ preventive action effectively in place.
• Ownership of preparing and organising site for all audits ensuring resolution of previous actions through cross-function teams.
• Carry out internal audits and inspections.
• Carry out product & packaging traceability exercises.

 

Qualifications and skills required:

• Minimum four years’ experience in food manufacturing.
• Food Science degree.
• BRC and Grocery Retail Food Standard experience essential.
• Food Hygiene certificate (HACCP and internal auditing certificate desirable).
• Experience in supplier assurance programme / supplier auditing.
