We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor with mechanical aptitude to Supervise Production in a highly successful food manufacturing company in Dublin 20.

• Day Shift role - Monday to Friday.
• Negotiable salary depending on experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a small team of general operatives to implement the daily production plan.
• Carry out light maintenance and machine settings.
• Co-ordinate raw material and packaging requirements to ensure they are available as per the production plan.
• Monitor line outputs and production losses, yields and maintain giveaway targets for each line.
• Ensure H&S procedures are being followed by all staff.
• Maintain production records and manage daily H&S, Quality and Food Safety compliance.
• Act as a member of the HACCP team and Identify, support and lead continuous improvement opportunities.

 

Experience Required:

• 2+ years Supervisory experience in food manufacturing with light maintenance an advantage.
• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in a food production environment.
• Good working knowledge of safety protocols and risk assessment procedures.
• Working knowledge of health and safety policies in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience of supervising and providing direction to a production small team.
