Key Responsibilities:
- Source materials and packaging required by the business from approved suppliers
- Support the sourcing of new raw materials (NRM’s) for TCFG Culinary & Innovation (C&I) department, within agreed timelines for project success
- Maintain the NRM tracker and liaise with the NPD team to ensure all new raw materials being used in product development are in line with relevant customer codes of practise, supplier policies and EU legislation and are in line with all relevant internal department requirements
- Maintain and update the raw material workflow as required
- Support in introducing new sources and/or rationalise to develop and drive a cost reduction programme across all suppliers without impact on quality of materials currently been purchased
- Support in building and maintaining strong relationships with all current and new suppliers
- In conjunction with SCM, manage, monitor and measure supplier lead times and performance, taking corrective action where necessary. Build and maintain strong relationships with all key suppliers and new suppliers
- Provide administrative support across the procurement department as required
- With the Procurement team, review forecasts and contracts and secure additional raw materials as required
- Adherence to ALL company policies and agreed KPIs as set out
Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience:
- Third level education is desirable
- Degree in business or similar relevant discipline is desirable, but not essential
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Project tracking experience is desirable
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, and be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Must have strong administration and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in MS, including but not limited to Excel
- Self-starter who will work on own initiative
- Adaptable to change and able to multi-task when necessary
- Proven track record in delivering results
