Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join the team at a leading Food Manufacturing Company. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant, adhering to best practices and contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

• Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance on schedule.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports, such as repair statuses and safety logs.
• Swift response to minimise production downtime.
• Manage the ordering and inventory of repair parts efficiently.
• Uphold a robust understanding of Health & Safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the technical department to meet BRC accreditation requirements.
• Possess skills in electrical, plumbing, and pipe installation (an advantage).
• Identify underlying causes of issues and implement sustainable improvements and solutions.
• Provide guidance and training to production staff on machine and equipment setup.
• Actively participate in new equipment installations, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintenance projects.
• Address emergency breakdowns promptly and effectively.

• Demonstrates a positive attitude, self-motivation, ambition, and assertiveness.
• Priorities both internal and external customer satisfaction.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in an FMCG environment.
• Electrical specialisation.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in computer literacy.
