Maintenance Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join the team at a leading Food Manufacturing Company. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant, adhering to best practices and contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks as necessary to uphold operational efficiency.
• Coordinate and execute PM Work, liaising with contractors as needed.
• Provide support for all production lines, manufacturing areas, and utilities equipment.
• Manage spare parts inventory and oversee consumables management.
• Assist in machine upgrades as part of our continuous improvement programs.
• Maintain the workshop and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Undertake any other relevant duties as assigned.
• Engage in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate the organisation's daily operations.

 

Qualifications for Success:

• Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, consistently delivering high-quality results within specified timelines.
• Self-motivated and driven by achieving tangible outcomes.
• Strong initiative and ability to work autonomously.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant industry.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and following detailed instructions.
• Commitment to upholding high standards of work quality.
