Our client, a very successful FMCG company, based in Monaghan, are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all their products meet the highest quality standards, and that all operations are in compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

 

The Quality Manager will work closely with other departments to identify areas for improvement and to implement solutions that drive continuous improvement.

 

Responsibilities:

• Refine implement and maintain a comprehensive quality management system
• Lead and build on existing BRC accreditation
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics
• Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement
• Work with other departments to implement corrective and preventive actions
• Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all employees are aware of quality requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and customers
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
• Lead, motivate and develop a small quality team

 

Requirements:

• Diploma or Higher in a Food Science related subject
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality management in FMCG or Food Retail Environment
• Excellent knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Team Leadership and Management skills required
• Knowledge and experience of BRC
• HACCP Certification required
• Strong project management skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
