Excellent opportunity for an Electrical Fitter to join our client's team in the Wexford / Waterford area.

 

Negotiable salary DOE.

 

Responsibilities: 

• Carry out the maintenance of production process equipment, to include: planned preventative/scheduled/predictive maintenance tasks and to carry out equipment surveys.
• Undertake  Electrical trouble-shooting on the production lines and equipment.
• Electro-mechanical repairs to high-speed, PLC-controlled plant, handling and packaging equipment.
• Carry out detailed root cause analysis on breakdowns to implement corrective repairs.
• Review planned preventative maintenance procedures to improve their quality and effectiveness.
• Repairs to mechanical and control systems equipment including pneumatics and hydraulics.

 

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical or electrical background. With 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment post apprenticeship.
