We have an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager to join a very successful, leading FMCG in North Dublin.

 

• Negotiable salary DOE.
• 6 month contract.

 

The Health & Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and ethical standards across the site, reporting to the General Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to H&S policies, regulations, and guidelines.
• Lead the H&S committee, organize meetings, and promote engagement.
• Investigate accidents and near misses, manage root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and update H&S systems, risk assessments, and safety documentation.
• Conduct internal audits and ensure site readiness for external inspections.
• Oversee H&S training programs (e.g., First Aid, Manual Handling).
• Collaborate with managers to integrate H&S practices across site operations.
• Manage contractor compliance with site regulations and required documentation.

 

Requirements:

• Third level qualification in Health &  Safety, Food, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
• Previous experience in a Health & Safety Manager position.
