Quality Assurance Technician

Due to continued growth, our client now has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician to join their Quality team in North Dublin. 

 

• Working Days: 5 days over 7.  
• Hours: 6:00-3pm.
• Excellent salary.
• 20 days Annual Leave.
• Please note it is a requirement to have a full valid driving licence & access to a car as the site is not accessible by public transport.

 

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all products are prepared, portioned, and packaged according to quality standards, food safety regulations, and legal requirements.
• Leading root cause analyses for non-conformance issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conducting tests on raw materials and finished products, performing quality control sampling, and ensuring product consistency.
• Overseeing factory cleaning and sanitation processes, performing environmental monitoring, and conducting internal audits.
• Maintaining proper temperature controls across production, storage, and transportation to ensure product quality.
• Ensuring adherence to SOPs  and compliance with HACCP, GMP, and other regulatory requirements.

 

Requirements:

• Expertise in sensory, microbiological, and chemical testing.
• Strong data analysis and trend interpretation abilities.
• Meticulous documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Familiarity with food production workflows and challenges.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, with the ability to train and support teams.
• A full valid driving licence & access to a car is a requirement for this role to access the site.
