Our client, a successful FMCG company is looking for an Operations Manager to lead the site operations. This role would suit a Production Manager looking to take the next step in their career.

 

Negotiable salary depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for day-to-day plant operations and achievement of Business Plan Objectives.
• Directly supervise and support the manufacturing team.
• Oversee operational systems to ensure cost effective production within quality specifications.
• Oversee the management of the Warehousing and Inventory Control Processes for the Manufacturing Site.
• Responsible for engineering – ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Maintain Quality Management Systems and HACCP system adhering to Company manufacturing standards, Food safety & Quality system standards.
• Ensure the Site operates within the guidelines of the Company Policies and Procedures and Legislation requirements with regards to risk and environmental management.

 

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience as a Production Manager working in the Food Industry.
• Previous Management experience.
• Knowledge of Industry from supply chain through to Retail.
• Product Knowledge including transport, storage, distribution, and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate commercial acumen with an eye for seeing business improvement opportunities.
