Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Electrician to support the day-to-day running and maintenance of our clients food production facility in Co. Meath.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage electrical works and troubleshoot site equipment.
• Lead preventative maintenance scheduling and programs.
• Complete work orders safely and efficiently, adhering to company procedures.
• Upload job details via handheld mobile field technology.
• Test, inspect, and certify installations.
• Provide clear explanations of systems and procedures to management.
• Develop a strong knowledge of all site electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

• A high level of competency in electrical work/engineering with 1+ years post-apprenticeship experience.
• Experience with machines, process equipment, controls, and automation.
• Background in electrical and mechanical installations and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• A full, clean driving license.
• Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, and be on call as required.
