Technical Executive

As a Technical Executive, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the company’s reputation for exceptional quality. Working closely with the Technical Manager, you’ll support technical compliance ensuring seamless coordination between suppliers and customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Technical queries via email.
  • Completing customer questionnaires, including sending customer BRCGS relating documents.
  • Ongoing monitoring of supplier approval. Review suppliers’ BRC certs and product specifications.
  • Checking if suppliers are up to date with documentation. This involves contacting current suppliers directly.
  • Ensure supplier temperature data logger read outs are downloaded and saved in supplier folders
  • Manage the (external) laboratory testing schedule and ensure products are tested monthly to the analysis schedule.
  • Log samples with laboratory and organise collection. Review of laboratory results when received.
  • Ensure supplier loading reports are received and monitored.
  • Ensure all samples are logged on the sample tracker, receipted and stored correctly.
  • Ensure COA's are received from supplier based on schedule. This involves contacting suppliers directly
  • Monthly horizon scanning- TACCP/VACCP monitoring.
  • Assist in reviewing of specifications and 6 monthly reviews of one-page specifications.

 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Previous experience in a food technical role is required.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and BRCGS compliance is required.
  • A qualification in food safety, food science, or a related field.
  • Good numeracy skills for data tracking and reporting.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office. (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
  • A valid EU work permit.
