• Job Opportunity: Quality Assurance Technician
• Location: North Dublin. Please note a full valid driver's licence & access to a car is essential for this role as the site is not accessible by public transport.
  Reports To: Technical Manager
• Working Hours: 7.15am to 3.45.pm. Weekend work involved.
• Negotiable salary: €35k DOE

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll work closely with the Technical Manager and production teams to ensure our products consistently meet customer expectations and Irish food safety standards.

 

What You’ll Do:

1. Product Compliance:

• Ensure products are processed, prepared, and packaged to meet quality specifications and customer expectations.
• Verify packaging meets functional and aesthetic standards.

2. Corrective Actions:

• Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and implement long-term preventive actions.

3. Testing & Inspection:

• Conduct tests on raw materials, finished products, and production processes to ensure quality standards.
• Perform sensory evaluations, microbiological testing, and shelf-life assessments.

4. Temperature Monitoring:

• Monitor and document temperature controls during storage, processing, and transportation.

5. Procedure Compliance:

• Maintain compliance with Irish and EU regulations, including HACCP, GMP, and FSAI guidelines.

 

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance.
• Knowledge of Irish food safety standards, including FSAI regulations, HACCP, and GMP.
• Proficiency in testing methodologies and quality assurance tools.
• Full valid driving licence & access to a car.
