Shift Manager – Food Manufacturing

 

Location: Co. Louth 

Shifts: Day or Evening Shift Available (includes rotating Sunday work, Saturdays off). 

Company also open to a monthly rotation between day & evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to KPIs.
• Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while managing performance and staffing.
• Quality & Compliance: Uphold food safety standards (BRC, HACCP, GMP) and drive a proactive approach to quality.
• Health & Safety: Ensure a safe working environment, conduct risk assessments, and lead safety initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Reporting & Communication: Deliver shift reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role within manufacturing or food production.
• Strong understanding of health & safety, quality assurance, and operational efficiency.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Desirable: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or operational excellence experience. Experience working with BRC, HACCP, and other food safety standards.
