Senior Brand Manager

My client is a leading FMCG multinational with well known brands.

They are currently looking for a Senior Brand Manager to join the team.

The position requires energy, drive and a real passion for the brand and the consumer. Candidates should enjoy a challenge and be a proven problem solver; have strong financial / business acumen; with experienced project management skills. The ability to build local understanding - for consumers, customers and shopper is also key.

The General Purpose of the role is:

To build the understanding of the Irish business / marketplace into the UK/Ire working with the UK based marketing teams to ensure the needs of the Irish business are fully reflected in the plans.
To lead the Irish execution of marketing plans that will ultimately deliver a win/win for us and our customers
To lead the Irish Category Team and to deliver category targets in PBI and market share.
To develop & execute a promotional plan in line with category strategy for Ireland whilst supporting specific customer needs. Also to ensure the category strategy lives within the customer teams and into the customer on a day to day basis.
To represent the Irish customer views back into the UK/Ire Brand teams.
To lead and develop your direct reports

The Role:

Lead the development of the Irish input for UK/Ireland goals and marketing strategies.
Lead the excellent execution of Activity Plans in Ireland on time and in full.
Align national brand and category plans. Amplify national plans with brilliant be-spoke customer plans
Work Closely with UK Category Managers and the Irish Customer Marketing Teams to ensure great execution of the NCBP in-store.
Constantly review brand and initiative performance for ongoing improvement.
People Management and Development

SALARY - 65-75K Depending on Experience

MATERNITY LEAVE CONTRACT - 9 months
